Our 125th Anniversary features in Commonwealth Voices magazine

Commonwealth Voices

April’s edition of Commonwealth Voices, the magazine of the Royal Commonwealth Society, features an extended article about RLSS penned by our Deputy Commonwealth President Clive Holland.

Commonwealth Voices is published online and in print form, and sent to all Commonwealth High Commissions in London, as well as over 70 self-governing Royal Commonwealth Society branches and Commonwealth Societies worldwide.

In the article, Clive talks about the 125th Anniversary of the RLSS, specifically the importance of our Survival Swimming programme, a key initiative for our 125th year. Our focus on  Survival Swimming addresses issues raised in the WHO’s Global Report on Drowning, and the increased uptake of such programmes throughout the Commonwealth will be a fitting legacy for our Anniversary year.

As an accredited Commonwealth Society ourselves, we’re delighted to support this prestigious magazine and hope all Member Branches and friends will share April’s edition with their volunteers, partner organisations and friends. The RLSS article is on pages 14/15; alternatively you can download it as a pdf here.
