RLSS Emerging Leaders Workshop
Do you know of individuals who would benefit from the opportunity to share their experiences and learn from others by participating in the RLSS Emerging Leaders Workshop and WCDP 2017. We are looking for young people in the Commonwealth, aged 18-35 years, who have demonstrated commitment to drowning prevention and who are or have the potential to be a drowning prevention leader in their country or community.
Sixty percent of the Commonwealth’s population are under 30 years old. These people are not only the future of a successful Commonwealth; they are already active participants in shaping that future. As the Royal Life Saving Society strives to achieve our vision that “No person in the Commonwealth should drown”, it is essential that we provide these young people with the leadership skills they need to face the challenges of achieving that vision. In support of that objective, we are delighted to announce our second Emerging Leaders Workshop in conjunction with the World Conference on Drowning Prevention (WCDP) 2017 in Vancouver, Canada.
