The RLSS in Ireland: new book published
Until 1949, when it became a republic, Ireland was part of the Commonwealth and an integral part of the Royal Life Saving Society. A new book by historian David Browne charts the history of the Society in Ireland.
The book is called is called ‘To The Rescue’ and is a fascinating account of the growth of the Royal Life Saving Society in Ireland.
