Speedo launches Swim Generation

The Royal Life Saving Society have been working in partnership with Speedo for the last 18 months and yesterday saw the launch of Swim Generation, Speedo’s global initiative that aims to help contribute to the reduction of drowning worldwide, striving towards a world where everyone everywhere has the right to be able to swim.

Swim Generation supports lifesaving projects around the world and we have been working with Speedo on our small grants programme which provides our member branches with support for the water safety and drowning prevention initiative

  1. Hello,

I am a recently qualified swimming coach, setting up a swimming school in Solwezi, Zambia.

Along side the traditional swimming Lessons I would to have regular water safety community events to children who many not be able to participate in the swimming program.

Zambia contains 17% of the worlds surface fresh water and there are no firm statistics on drowning in the country.

Any advice or information you may be able to give me on hosting an event like this would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
