Dr. Tengku Fadilah Tengku Kamalden

Dr. Tengku Fadilah Tengku Kamalden has advocated water safety for over three decades. She combines strategic research, community outreach, and policy leadership to advance drowning prevention. Heading the data committee for Malaysia’s Water Activity Safety Council (MKAA), she drives national drowning data collection and safety protocols. Throughout her academic career, she taught swimming and water safety, pioneered interactive digital courses, and authored parental guides—empowering families and training lifesavers to prevent drowning.
