On this day we mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of our former Patron Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Her late Majesty became RLSS Patron on 3 June 1952, a position she would hold until her passing on 8 September 2022.
In her role as Patron, she maintained a keen interest in the Society’s work and provided untold support and encouragement across seven decades.
By doing so, her late Majesty amassed an unrivaled record of achievement that has made the Society stronger and more confident in its quest that No person in the Commonwealth shall drown.
